Reverting back to Jorte. In pursuit of auto-syncing Google Tasks with a home screen widget, I tried many alternatives like SSI gTasks and Astrid - but they really don't work very well.

Jorte's main draw is that it can auto-sync with Google Tasks every 30 minutes to keep everything up to date. After a few UI tweaks like the color of my Google Calendar, it looks pretty nice. So I am keeping Jorte for its agenda widget but not using its full app UI since it's rather odd. Will be using the Google Calendar app for events and Dato GTasks for tasks. However, I was rarely modifying events and tasks on the phone, so a read-only agenda widget is really the most important issue anyhow.
